Dr Altaaf Hathiari

Dr A Hathiari qualified in 1998 from Manchester University in 1998. Since then he has aquired a wide range of expertise in many aspects of dentistry. Dr Hathiari has attended many post graduate courses over the years at Eastman Dental Institute in London.

Throughout the years he has devoted himself to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence carried through his career. Dr A Hathiari has gained a reputation for providing a complete solution to the patient with high demands, a wide range of treatments such as smile makeovers with veneers to precision fitting partial dentures.

He is also an accredited Invisalign practitioner providing invisible braces to straighten crooked teeth as well as a qualified Enlighten Evolution tooth whitening expert – the only tooth whitening system to guarantee a bright white tooth shade!

Dr Surendra Shenoy – Specialist Oral Surgeon

Dr Surendra Shenoy has been providing Minor Oral Surgery Services at 44 Dental Care, Leicester for the past four years. He is also employed by a NHS Foundation Trust Hospital of a neighbouring county as a Specialist Oral Surgeon.

Since qualifying as a dentist, for the past 22 years, Dr Shenoy has been exclusively involved in providing Oral surgery service. He has spent most of his career in secondary care Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical units and gained substantial clinical and surgical knowledge in managing more complex cases. Dr Shenoy is one of the GDC registered specialist with an extended competency in Oral Surgery. Over the years he has managed to establish a good rapport with the local dental community and also provides one to one mentoring to local GDP’s in Oral surgical techniques and procedures.

Dr Jean Jeaques Khamis – Specialist Prosthodontist

BDS MFDS RCS MClin.Dent MRD RCS Eng. London – GDC No. 75033

Dr Jean-Jacques Khamis qualified as a dentist from King’s College London. He underwent further training at the Bristol Dental Hospital, gaining experience in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. He embarked upon specialist registrar training in Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute London and there he completed a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.

On obtaining his Membership in Restorative Dentistry he became a General Dental Council registered specialist in Prosthodontics. Jean-Jacques specialises in cosmetic work be it with implants, crowns and bridges, veneers or dentures.

Debra is our practice manager who brings 25years of managerial experience and specialist dental knowledge to the team.

Madeline Francis

Hygienist- GDC No: 5067

Our Dental Hygienist Madeline has been practising for over 20 years since graduating in 1994 and works with us here on a part-time basis.

At 44 Dental, as well as carrying out the routine procedures such as cleaning, treating gum disease, and oral health education, Madeline also works closely with Dr JJ Khamis, our specialist prosthodontist, to help prepare patients with oral health instructions before their dental implant procedures.

Rachel Taylor

Dental Nurse – GDC No. 112554

Rachel has been with the practice for over 30 years and has a vast amount of experience in the field of dentistry. Patients find her calm and friendly manner comforting and re assuring. She is fully qualified and registered with the GDC. Rachel also manages the minor oral surgery and implant referrals for 44 Dental Care. She is a specialist minor oral surgery nurse
